our approach

Primary Prevention Center was created to offer a more thoughtful approach to medicine—one that prioritizes prevention, clarity, and long-term health. After years of practicing in traditional clinical settings, we saw how often care begins only after problems develop. This practice was built to change that model by focusing on early risk identification, informed decision-making, and proactive medical guidance.

At Primary Prevention Center, care is intentionally unhurried and individualized. We take the time to review history, data, and context—because meaningful prevention requires more than a brief visit. By working virtually and focusing on a limited patient panel, we’re able to provide thoughtful guidance, continuity, and care designed for the long term.

Our Services

Primary Prevention Center offers two ways to engage in thoughtful, preventive medical care. Each option is designed to provide clarity, guidance, and a proactive understanding of health—without urgency or excess.

Fitness

1

one-time comprehensive health review and risk assessment

$500 one-time

A private, physician-led evaluation designed for individuals seeking clarity around their metabolic and cardiovascular health — without committing to ongoing care.

This comprehensive assessment provides a high-level review of key cardiometabolic risk factors, including weight, cholesterol, metabolic markers, sleep-related risk, and lifestyle contributors. The focus is on understanding where you are now and what preventive steps matter most moving forward.

2

Monthly Obesity & Metabolic Health Care (GLP-1–Supported)

$300 monthly

A membership-based service for individuals seeking thoughtful, ongoing medical care focused on weight management, metabolic health, and long-term cardiovascular risk reduction.

This service is intentionally limited in size to allow for unrushed visits, personalized care, and physician continuity. Care emphasizes sustainable outcomes rather than short-term fixes and integrates medication when appropriate as part of a broader metabolic strategy.

one-time comprehensive health review and risk assessment

$500 one-time

A private, physician-led evaluation designed to provide clarity around metabolic and cardiovascular risk.

who is this for?

This service is designed for individuals who want a thorough, evidence-based assessment of metabolic and cardiovascular risk without committing to ongoing care. Many patients already have a primary care physician and are seeking deeper interpretation, prevention-focused guidance, and a clear actionable-plan moving forward.

What does this assessment include?

One comprehensive virtual visit (45–60 minutes)

Review of medical history, lifestyle factors, and goals

Cardiometabolic risk assessment

Personalized preventive guidance

Laboratory Evaluation

When appropriate, the assessment includes ordering and interpretation of a focused preventive lab panel, which may include the following:

Cardiometabolic panel

Lipid panel

Apolipoprotein B

Lipoprotein(a)

Hemoglobin A1c

Liver & metabolic health

Hepatic function panel

Endocrine & nutritional

TSH

Vitamin D

Vitamin B12

Folate

Imaging and advanced risk assessment

Imaging may be recommended selectively to further inform metabolic and cardiovascular risk discussions. This may include:

Coronary artery calcium (CAC) scoring to assess coronary plaque burden and refine cardiovascular risk

DEXA body composition scanning to evaluate bone density, fat mass, lean mass, and muscle preservation

Optional full-body MRI screening for individuals seeking advanced, non-invasive imaging as part of a broader preventive health review

*Full-body MRI screening is optional and patient-directed. This practice does not manage incidental findings or coordinate follow-up testing. Any abnormal results are reviewed at a high level with recommendations for appropriate follow-up through the patient’s primary care physician or relevant specialist.

Sleep plays a critical role in metabolic health, cardiovascular risk, and weight regulation. As part of a comprehensive preventive evaluation, patients are screened for risk factors associated with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), a common and often underrecognized contributor to cardiometabolic disease.

When clinically appropriate, home sleep apnea testing (HSAT) may be facilitated to further evaluate risk. HSAT is a convenient, non-invasive screening tool that assesses breathing patterns and oxygen levels during sleep.

HSAT through this practice is used for risk identification and clinical context only. Interpretation focuses on determining whether findings are consistent with obstructive sleep apnea and how this may relate to metabolic and cardiovascular health.

Ongoing management of sleep apnea, including CPAP therapy or long-term follow-up, is coordinated with the patient’s primary care physician or a sleep medicine specialist.

Home sleep apnea testing is arranged on a private-pay basis through preferred diagnostic partners when utilized.

Monthly Obesity & Metabolic Health Management

$300 monthly

Private, longitudinal care focused on weight, metabolism, and long-term cardiometabolic risk reduction.

about this service

This membership-based service is designed for individuals seeking ongoing, thoughtful medical care for obesity and metabolic health in a private, unrushed setting.

Care is longitudinal and personalized, with an emphasis on understanding the underlying metabolic drivers of weight, cardiometabolic risk, and overall health. Medication may be used when appropriate, but always as part of a broader, evidence-based strategy rather than a stand-alone solution.

This service is intentionally limited in size to preserve continuity, access, and quality of care.
